Wire & Cable Cleaning

All products have low vapor pressure and a high boiling point. This means the product does NOT evaporate like Methylene Chloride, MEK, and Acetone. This fantastic property lowers emissions inside the plant and offers operators and workers fewer chemical toxic fumes and vapors to inhale. To clean any residue left on the surface, operators must wipe and dry the surface with a damp cloth.

GSP USA, Inc. is taking the industrial segment to where it is destined to reach cleaner chemistry, robust technology, secure products, and solutions serving many cleaning applications.

Products are developed with a vision of a cleaner world. At GSP USA, Inc., we strive to bring the Electrical Wire and Cables Industry the most suitable, high-performance, Eco-friendly hand wipe and Immersion cleaning products for value. We combine unmatched technology with proven performance to help you get the most out of your equipment and complete your projects. All while maintaining your workers’ safety and the environment.

Obtaining Residue-Free Surface – Eliminating Electrical Malfunction

We recommend that your plant test and evaluate all three products side-by-side to remove contaminants to choose the ideal chemistry and cleaning process. One test method is to saturate a white cloth with the above products separately and then wipe the surface. After a few wipes, the contaminants are picked up by the fabric. Be sure to wipe and dry the surface after applying the cleaning product.

Be sure to test the products for Material Compatibility.

Cleaning products have been known to affect and raise resistivity issues with the cable, splice, and semiconducting materials made from various sensitive polymers. Test the cleaning products on multiple substrates (ferrous and non-ferrous metals, polymers, and resins). Submerge your wire, cable, and semi-conducting components in the cleaning agent (in an immersion application) to measure the volume resistivity effects.

GSP USA does NOT recommend any of our products used in an immersion cleaning tank application for cleaning wire and cable, splice, or other semi-conductor components made from a polymeric material. A minimum amount of product should be used to wipe residue from the cable insulation; direct spraying, dipping, etc., should be avoided.

Protecting the Environment and Human Health and achieving sustainable development and pollution prevention is OUR Company’s Number One Priority.

  • Nonflammable, Non-HAPs, Low VOC – Cost-Effective
  • Simple Cleaning Process – Use as Is
  • Superb Performance – More Efficient Than NMP and NMP-based Products, PM Acetate, Toluene, Ketones (ACETONE, MEK), and Chlorinated Solvents
  • Low Toxicity – No Harmful Fumes
  • Recyclable, Reclaimable, and Reusable – Lower Disposal Cost
  • Non-Carcinogenic – Non-Mutagenic, Non-Teratogenic – Eliminates Regulatory Issues
